Pandemonium

Because many wanted shelves for the kitchen and because I revere a nice handle, I conceived this design--though I had no idea how to cut the pan to fit neatly against a wall. Eventually I found my way. Fill this one with fruit or with onions and garlic.

Cookbook titles vary, but I try to keep one of these in stock at all times.

Steps To Better Reading

These book spines had nothing going for them, but those deckled foredges held my eye. Still, it took years to figure out what to do with them. I made a few of these shelves with differing support brackets. The one currently on hand reads, "The Library of the World's Greatest Literature."

Here form and subject are neatly aligned. The bracket shape suggests organ pipes or notes on a page.
